LiveProcess, Compliance, and the Future
Emergency Preparedness Planning

Changes to Emergency Management Guidelines, Standards and Regulations have become difficult to track, let alone manage.  Hospitals are already overburdened with the need to maintain current compliance requirements; the updates will be nearly impossible to support.

LiveProcess will soon introduce a new Compliance Suite that tracks and helps complete the 2008 Joint Commission Emergency Management Standards.  Recent national disasters have highlighted the need for such improved and well-coordinated healthcare emergency response capabilities during adverse events.

The new LiveProcess Compliance Suite will help meet that challenge. It includes specific sections that enable healthcare facilities to easily attach all relevant documents to the Standards, perform a self-assessment of potential Survey scores, capture all critical information required for an Emergency Management Tracer among each critical hazard identified in the hospital HVA.

We hope these additional tools will help healthcare professionals easily navigate through the new requirements and improve overall response capabilities.  We strongly believe that a sound community response network, combined with individual preparedness activities, will improve our national ability to meet the challenges of any hazard.

NIMS Compliance
Nims Compliance Assessment

The similar LiveProcess National Incident Management System (NIMS) tool uses the same functionality for tracking and completing compliance, with downloadable electronic reports that can be sent to grant funding agencies.   Both the Standards and NIMS tools will automatically cross-reference similar requirements to reduce duplicative efforts.

This enables Emergency Coordinators to understand and address the 17 elements of NIMS Compliance as they apply specifically to healthcare. Through a simple interface, users can track their current compliance levels, their progress towards compliance over time, and the tasks associated with achieving full NIMS compliance. Graph and report capabilities make it simple to view compliance status at a glance.

LiveProcess assists your facility in complying with Joint Commission, NIMS, OSHA and NFPA 1600 Emergency Preparedness standards by offering a variety of Professional Services including professional preparedness assessments, web-based training for your personnel in LiveProcess, and proven deployment methods to get your facility using LiveProcess as quickly as possible with as little work as possible on your end.

What's more, LiveProcess' web-based architecture allows the system to be easily updated to meet new standards including EPRHC requirements. An organization in a constant state of readiness means never having to worry if and when an unknown event will occur or an unannounced survey arrives.
