Future Enhancements to LiveProcess

LiveProcess 2008 Joint Commission and NIMS Compliance Suite

LiveProcess will soon introduce a new Compliance Suite that tracks and helps complete the 2008 Joint Commission Emergency Management Standards. Recent national disasters have highlighted the need for such improved and well-coordinated healthcare emergency response capabilities during adverse events.

The forthcoming LiveProcess Compliance Suite will help meet that challenge. It includes specific sections that enable healthcare facilities to easily attach all relevant documents to the Standards, perform a self-assessment of potential Survey scores, and capture all critical information required for an Emergency Management Tracer among each critical hazard identified in the hospital HVA.

The similar LiveProcess NIMS tool uses the same functionality for tracking and completing compliance with downloadable electronic reports that can be sent to grant funding agencies. Once the Compliance tool goes live in 2008, both the Joint Commission and NIMS tools will automatically cross-reference similar requirements to reduce duplicative efforts.

LiveProcess Community

The new LiveProcess Community provides an open forum for Emergency Management professionals around the country to launch discussions, share experiences and access valuable reference materials. By using the new LiveProcess Community, you can connect with Emergency Management professionals from anywhere at any time.

Adds LiveProcess VP Quality and Compliance Mitch Saruwatari,

“Relationships and tools are two of the best assets for navigating through an incident. This new community portal helps to link people and business across town and across the world.”

We hope these additional tools will help healthcare professionals easily navigate through the new requirements and improve overall response capabilities. We strongly believe that a sound community response network, combined with individual preparedness activities, will improve our national ability to meet the challenges of any hazard.
