Mr. Al Strickland
LiveProcess

Al,

I wanted to drop you a note to say what an important part that LiveProcess played in our recent full-scale, all-hazards exercise at Emory-Adventist.

As you know, we used LiveProcess to build the MSELs for both the preliminary tabletop and for the actual full-scale. We had asked our Regional Coordinating Hospital for Region N to stand-up the RCH and we had the opportunity to use LiveProcess with our RCH during the entire exercise. It worked flawlessly. The only problems encountered were some user errors on our side that were easily corrected.

The exercise called for a mass disaster caused by a chemical spill with multiple trauma. We had approximately sixty victims. LiveProcess allowed for the simulated communications to other hospitals within Region N through the RCH. The Region D RCH was also monitoring.

This was quite a complex exercise. Multiple agencies and departments from the city, county and state played in the exercise. So much of our successful coordination occurred as a result of our implementing the full ICS in our EOC. The new LiveProcess ICS application, the Job Actions Sheets and the organization chart made all of our jobs much easier.

With all of that said, I recognized we only used a small portion of this application rich product. I look forward to having our staff grow in our knowledge.

My hat is off to the LiveProcess team and I am on who is a strong advocate for the use of this great system.

Sincerely,

Bob
