LIVEPROCESS COMPLETES STATEWIDE TRAINING IN GEORGIA
Hundreds of Georgia hospital personnel attend LiveProcess training

MADISON, NJ (February 23, 2006) - This past winter saw 257 emergency planners and coordinators from 146 hospitals throughout Georgia receive LiveProcess training as part of that state's comprehensive LiveProcess implementation program.

Held at each of the state's 12 Regional Coordinating Hospitals in January through March, hundreds of Georgia hospital personnel attended the sessions, allowing Georgia to become one of the best prepared states in the union in terms of disaster preparedness and response.

"The attendees were extremely encouraged by the system's potential to prepare their hospitals for disasters in ways never before possible," said Al Strickland, Bioterrorism Preparedness Project Manager at the Georgia Hospital Association. "LiveProcess will help them prepare for JCAHO and will allow them to do a better job in less time."

On-site training programs such as Georgia's are the norm for how LiveProcess does large-scale implementations. They allow bigger groups to interact face-to-face and establish regional information sharing and collaboration guidelines that can be implemented in LiveProcess. Online training programs are available for smaller programs or where other factors make on-site training impractical.
