VERONA, NJ (December 18, 2006) - LiveProcess (www.liveprocess.com), the leader in emergency preparedness and response for the healthcare community, today announced the hiring of John A. Lubarsky as Vice President of Sales. John will be responsible for the company's sales strategy and the building of the worldwide sales organization.
Mr. Lubarsky brings over 25 years of experience in sales and sales management, including extensive selling into the government, education and healthcare sectors. John was successful at Digital Equipment Corp, SynOptics (Bay Networks) and several start-ups including Berkeley Networks and CacheFlow Inc. (BlueCoat Systems). Most recently John was Sales Vice President for the Americas at Tandberg, a video technology leader. John grew this sales force into a first class direct touch selling organization which achieved growth in excess of 20% and $135M. After earning a B.S. Degree in Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, John received his Masters in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ.
John's key task is to scale the growth which has been established at LiveProcess. John stated, "I am extremely excited to be part of a very critical healthcare mission which is to better prepare and respond to potential disasters."
The LiveProcess platform is a centralized web-based application that helps an emergency coordinator manage many aspects of a hospital's disaster preparedness plans and response. From risk evaluation and training to coordinated response, LiveProcess makes it easier and faster than ever to monitor and maintain a healthcare facility's state of readiness.
As the best-of-breed healthcare solution for emergency preparedness and response, LiveProcess gives an organization the ability to prepare for and respond to disasters and other large-scale healthcare emergencies with greater ease and control than ever before. LiveProcess delivers an advanced web-based platform that makes even the most complex aspects of emergency preparedness and response simple, straightforward and easy to manage. From hazard vulnerability analysis and disaster preparedness, to Incident Command and inter-facility collaboration and coordination, LiveProcess provides the necessary tools to manage even the most severe scenario.
LiveProcess was founded in 2003 on the recognition that one of the greatest weaknesses in healthcare facilities management was a lack of preparation, incident command, training and effective communication during a disaster. First responders such as fire and law enforcement had long utilized these tools to ensure their readiness and rapid reaction, but hospitals largely relied on a patchwork of internal programs that lacked standards and structure.
In 2004, LiveProcess partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to implement LiveProcess at the agency's Noble Training Center. In early 2005, LiveProcess entered into pilot programs with Sutter Health, Mayo Clinic, UNC, NSLIJ, HCA and Tenet Healthcare. LiveProcess also began work with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to develop a regional framework for emergency preparedness and response.
In December of 2005, LiveProcess partnered with the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and began to deploy the platform at every hospital in the state. LiveProcess completed its integration with the GHA and the State of Georgia GA911.NET Public Safety web portal in early 2006. The company is now preparing to expand into other states as the demand continues to increase for a comprehensive solution to emergency preparedness and response for the healthcare community.
