AHA Solutions and LiveProcess Present: Mr. Jerry Gervais, Associate Director, Standards Interpretation Group, The Joint Commission, will discuss the 2008 Emergency Management Standards including specific areas of challenge identified during the Survey process. He will also review the new 2009 Emergency Management Chapter, how it is organized and the new Standards Improvement Initiative for scoring constructs. Lastly, expectations for Emergency Management Tracers and the importance of community integration for effective emergency management planning will be highlighted.
