As a high availability web application, you can rely on LiveProcess to be available when ever and from where ever you need it, without sacrificing the security of your information.
Web Application
LiveProcess is a hosted web application. There is no software to install, deploy, update or maintain. To use the platform, all you need is a computer or web-enabled mobile device, a standard web-browser and an Internet connection. You can log in using a secure password from anywhere to access information and communicate with other users.
Application requirements:
- Computer or mobile device with an Internet connection
- Web browser: Internet Explorer 6.x or above, Mozilla FireFox 2.x or above
- Operating system: Any operating system that runs the browsers noted above
High Availability Solution
LiveProcess runs on a high availability hardware infrastructure, meaning that multiple servers in distributed geographic locations are always available to run the application. If a server running LiveProcess fails for any reason, the application will fail over and run on another server in the same or a different location. Users will notice no difference in the application if this situation happens. This infrastructure has been tested and certified by FEMA network specialists.
The servers are hosted in secure data centers that leverage the latest technology for heating/cooling, air distribution, backup power and routing.
Data center features:
- Redundant HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems
- Regular air circulation and filtering to remove dust and contaminants
- Advanced fire suppression systems
- Dual routes for all cables
- Fully automated backups
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power for every server
- Fully redundant, enterprise-class routing equipment
- Only Certified Network Technicians
The LiveProcess application and hardware infrastructure is also designed to be highly scalable. Application scalability is extremely important in an environment that can go from zero to hundreds of users in minutes. The application must be able to handle instant load as well as a steady and consistent load. This architecture is designed to manage both.
Security
Multiple levels of security ensure that the important plans, contacts, inventory data and other information you store in LiveProcess is completely safe. All data being sent to or from the application across the Internet is encrypted, every user has a unique password and login, and all information in the LiveProcess database is also fully encrypted.
In addition, the LiveProcess application is continually monitored. All user access is tracked, including log-in, log-out, IP address, browser, and number of simultaneous sessions and any malicious user can be immediately logged out of the system by an administrator.
