POSITION: QA Engineer
REPORTS TO: VP Development

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic QA engineer to join LiveProcess' development team in building world-class systems focusing on emergency management and preparedness.

You will be responsible for QA of the LiveProcess platform, web components, applications and related web technology.

The ideal candidate should possess a mix of technical strength and business acumen. Previous work experience interfacing with clients and sales organizations in a professional services environment is desired.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of solid QA experience
  • Experience in PHP, SQL, XML or scripting is a plus
  • Experience developing Test Plans
  • Experience developing test cases for functional testing
  • Experience building and maintaining test scripts used to perform automated functional testing
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer orientation or professional services background
  • A passion for breaking software

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide testing of LiveProcess software
  • Test all features, old and new, of LiveProcess software. This will be done with the aid of quality assurance, scripting or other testing software. Testing will include web applications, web sites, stand-alone applications, installers, and online testing.
  • Work with Development, testing as new features are implemented, and as bugs are fixed. Building new automated test scripts as new features are added. Modifying existing test scripts as existing features are changed.
  • Work with Customer Support and Beta Testers, verifying the existence of reported bugs, documentation of bugs and feature requests, and be available for general mutual help.
