POSITION: Emergency Management Analyst - System Engineer

LiveProcess is looking for a system engineer who has a track record of working with a sales team and succeeding.

We provide a base salary; full benefits package, as well as a bonus structure. The successful candidate's compensation will reflect the effort and skill level of that individual.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform as an emergency management industry processes flow specialist, assisting with development of exercise scenarios/documents, and providing input based upon industry needs for software and technology
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all LiveProcess products and services
  • Effectively demonstrate our solutions with a consultative approach. This includes understanding the customer’s existing Emergency Management software systems, and Emergency Management Processes
  • Maintain a working knowledge of competitors’ products and services and of emerging trends in the emergency management and compliance software industry as a whole
  • Research and analyze customer needs, market changes to provide product development with enhancement proposals for application of LiveProcess product and services.
  • Provide analytical assistance with the Emergency Management processes and technical aspects of sales proposals and request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Help Sales team to develop market strategies that result in revenues and organizational success
  • In conjunction with sales team, develop and deliver sales presentations
  • Provide analytical input to development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products
  • Develop and maintain communications with all levels of staff and customers, ranging from line managers to corporate presidents
  • Assist Sales Team to meet established sales goals
  • Using a consultative style, advise customer on how to best utilize and apply LiveProcess products and look for opportunities to increase our solutions value
  • Function as an Implementation Project Manager for new client installations, including  training for new clients
  • Manage technical relationships between the company and reseller/distributors if/when appropriate
  • Evaluate, train and support resellers/distributors to sell and support the company’s products, field all pre-sales technical issues, and direct customer interaction for the entire life cycle of a sale
  • Assist clients with feasibility studies, integration of data and other existing hospital or government systems, systems requirements and specifications
  • Perform new product testing and assist in field beta trials
Qualifications:
  • Strong work ethic, and high integrity
  • Experience working with Emergency Management principles (Prepare, Respond, Recover, Incident Command Structures, Hazard Vulnerability Analysis, Compliance)
  • Experience working with hospital personnel and situations preferred
  • Well developed analytical skills in process flow, improvement and system review
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple high priority projects
  • Proven, effective written and verbal skills
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more and be part of a start-up team. Attitude to help the team to do what it needs to succeed is important
  • Ability to provide technical writing responses and formal documentation in a written and graphic format
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Public speaking and presentation abilities, with a focus on presenting/demonstrating  technical information to those with a non-technical background
  • Must have excellent active listening skills
  • Must be able to discuss software technologies with a view to demonstrating their usefulness to current and potential customers
  • Work effectively across cross-functional lines, in coordination with others involved in marketing, sales, logistics, technical services
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside your immediate team to achieve desired business results
  • Experience using web-based training software, for example WebEx, preferred
  • Proven experience with project management concepts and principles preferred

Computer Ability:

  • Exposure to Web-based applications
  • PC proficiency – Microsoft XP, Microsoft Office and Excel
  • General understanding of Database systems
