LiveProcess Announces First and Only Regional Coordination Platform for Healthcare Emergency Management

VERONA, NJ (July 12, 2010) – LiveProcess Corporation, a New Jersey-based provider of healthcare emergency management software, today announced a new interface to the LiveProcess platform designed for coordinating entities such as regional coalitions, associations and county health systems. The new interface extends the LiveProcess patented networked emergency management system to enable better community preparedness, compliance, and response, and is the only dedicated regional offering for healthcare.

Just as LiveProcess currently helps emergency coordinators at healthcare facilities prepare for and respond to emergency situations, this new interface allows coordinators to ensure emergency preparedness and response across multiple facilities in a system or region. The different LiveProcess interfaces are intended to help connect the entire healthcare community, while still meeting the needs of individual users.

LiveProcess is also introducing new capabilities to improve emergency preparedness and response efficiency for all users of the platform. These include:

  • Contacts self-maintenance – LiveProcess can automatically request contacts in the platform to verify and update their contact details, which saves significant administrative time and effort while improving contact currency.
  • Integrated community surveys – Within the platform, users can set up and send surveys as well as store results, which helps to better integrate feedback from colleagues in their facility and community and drive better preparedness and response.
  • Intelligent tasking – Tasks can be assigned and automatically tracked by LiveProcess, keeping important assignments in focus for administrators and users, and helping streamline documentation for compliance.

"Customers have asked us to enhance our platform to help address the challenges of regional coordination.  These challenges include secure communication between multiple facilities, and better managing the more stringent compliance requirements for NIMS and ASPR,” said Nathaniel Weiss, LiveProcess CEO. "Today, we're delivering a new interface and enhanced capabilities so that coordinating entities and facility users can more easily share information and collaborate on issues related to emergency preparedness and management."

LiveProcess continues to show strong customer adoption. With the recent addition of customers in Arizona and Washington State, LiveProcess is now in place in more than 600 facilities in 24 states.
