LiveProcess Implements Emergency Management Platform with 51 Florida Hospitals

Six of seven Domestic Security Task Force regions represented

VERONA, NJ (August 27, 2009) – LiveProcess, the market leader in emergency preparedness and incident management solutions for healthcare, today announced it has implemented its industry-leading web-based platform in more than 50 hospitals across the state of Florida.

The hospitals are located in six of the seven Domestic Security Task Force Regions created after the September 11 terrorist attacks. LiveProcess was chosen by the hospitals among several firms under the auspices of the Federal Hospital Preparedness Program, which provides grant funds for emergency preparedness activities.

"LiveProcess was the overwhelming choice among facilities ranging from small rural hospitals to large systems," said Christopher T. Woodham, LiveProcess regional sales manager. "We are very pleased with the outcome and look forward to even more expansion throughout the southeast."

The Florida agreement comes as LiveProcess continues a national expansion plan that is connecting more freestanding hospitals, healthcare systems and regions into its growing national network.

"These agreements mean many of Florida's healthcare regions can now make use of technology to help solve community-wide planning and response challenges," said Mitch Saruwatari, vice president of quality and compliance for LiveProcess. "With the hurricane season in progress, and seasonal flu and possible H1N1 activity around the corner, Florida now has one more tool for coordinating resources and managing response activities."
