About LiveProcess
LiveProcess was founded in 2004 on the recognition that one of the greatest weaknesses in healthcare facilities management was a lack of preparation, incident command, training and effective communication during a disaster. First responders such as fire and law enforcement had long utilized these tools to ensure their readiness and rapid reaction, but hospitals largely relied on a patchwork of internal programs that lacked standards and structure.
In 2004, LiveProcess partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to implement LiveProcess at the agency's Noble Training Center. In early 2005, LiveProcess entered into pilot programs with Sutter Health, Mayo Clinic, UNC, NSLIJ, HCA and Tenet Healthcare. LiveProcess also began work with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to develop a regional framework for emergency preparedness and response.
In December of 2005, LiveProcess partnered with the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and began to deploy the platform at every hospital in the state. LiveProcess completed its integration with the GHA and the State of Georgia GA911.NET Public Safety web portal in early 2006. The company is now preparing to expand into other states as the demand continues to increase for a comprehensive solution to emergency preparedness and response for the healthcare community.
